We all love people-watching, don't we?
I am a big walker. I love to walk around where I live and see all the life that surrounds me. But, being a human, I'm also very drawn to the types of people and groups that make up the urban fabric. Every choice you make, from choosing which pants to wear, what kind of dog to adopt - even which street to walk - is a kind of self-expression.
But why the European toy brand 'Playmobil'? The answer is simple. When drawing these I couldn't help but be brought back to playing with the aforementioned toys and playsets - mixing and matching the colourful Playmobil sets and environments.

Eventually, the project grew - I started to move away from the more generic blank-faced People and into poses with a bit more drama and dynamics. Additionally, I started to limit the colour palette - just for fun!
